Yayoi Kusama at the Tate Modern

Top and Shoes: Zara, Skirt: Aqua, Bag: Prada

The first time I ever heard about Yayoi Kusama was whilst I was watching a documentary about Marc Jacobs. To find out why Marc loves her so much, I came to the Tate Modern to find out for myself. Well, it was an exhibition like no other, no wonder it is selling out like crazy.  Each painting told a story mainly because her work contains a strain of self-absorption. Walking though the exhibition it feels like you are going though the journey of her life, almost like an autobiography in pictures. By the end, you think you know her…. But actually, you don’t at all.

Heather (my cousin) who had gone to see the exhibition before me advised me to wear something white on the day…. so I did…. Why? You’ll see when you visit! It’ll be a pleasant surprise! :P

Hibiscus

Coat: Karen Millen, Dress: Zara, Necklace: Prada, Shoes: Nicholas Kirkwood, Bag: Hermes

Browsing through Burlington Arcade.

A few days ago, I went to the Hibiscus Restaurant to experience Claude Bosi’s effortless creations.

The atmosphere is refreshing whilst the decor is simple, leaving you to contemplate on the sublime food. Hibiscus is exactly what Haute Cuisine is all about.
